Books for Friends

In keeping with the Friends mission to promote literacy in Philadelphia, the Books for Friends program offers FREE books to community-based organizations as well as hospitals, senior centers and more.

If you serve people of any age who would benefit from reading we have books for you to pick up. The Books for Friends program is designed to increase literacy and to give support back to the community that so greatly supports us.

Our books have been used in waiting rooms, ESL classrooms, for staff/client education, as giveaways or raffle prizes, and for resale to benefit area organizations.

We also offer special book discounts for teachers!
