Big Book Sale

Every Spring, Friends of the Free Library holds the annual Big Book Sale, our largest and most exciting event of the year.

For three days each Spring, we host Philadelphia's longest running outdoor book event. Located outside Book Corner's front door you will find thousands of fiction and non-fiction titles priced at $2.00 and under. Bargains abound inside too with 30% off all in-store stock.

And it doesn't only happen once a year: For two days in mid-October, we host a Sidewalk Sale with the same slashed prices!
